How it Works

  • Civil Society Organisation - CSOs (NGOs) register with India Cares to participate
  • India Cares sets up Webpage and announces the participating CSO on FB
  • ICFn and CSO works together on making a strategy for raising visibility and awareness
  • CSO - Trustees, Staff, Companies, Volunteers, Beneficiaries get involved in spreading the message and donating/ fundraising
  • ICFn simultaneously reaches out to runners/ companies/ individuals to raise funds for a cause/ donate to any participatinn CSO
  • Fundraisers register for various fundraising categories - Champions or iCare. Companies may decide to have a team running for the CSO
  • it is a 80:20 work load shared between the CSO and ICFn during the 6 months

Civil Society Organisation (CSO/ NGO) Participation

CSOs who wish to utilize the platform of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2019, need to register with the Event’s Philanthropy Partner, India Cares Foundation (India Cares).

Registration Formalities:

  • Fill the CSO registration form – All details as required in the form must be filled and do upload the soft copies of the relevant documents.
  • Soft copies of the following documents will need to be sent, with the filled registration form. CSOs who have participated in 2018 need not send legal registration documents, but confirm that all details remain the same and valid,
    • Certificate of registration of the CSO (as a Trust/Society/s.25/8 Company)
    • High Resolution Logo of your CSO Jpg/Jpeg/png. format)
    • 12A Registration Certificate & 80G Approval & PAN Card
    • FCRA Registration Certificate (if applicable) front and back
    • 35AC permission (if applicable)
    • Audited Financial Statements 2017-18
    • Annual report of 2017-18
    • High Resolution Logo for promotional purposes
  • The Funds Utilisation document, if participated in 2018, only in the format given.
  • There is a CSO registration contribution to be sent to complete your registration process. The contribution will depend upon the overall size of your CSO as mentioned below. This can be through a NEFT, cheque or demand draft in favour of “India Cares Foundation”.
  • CSO Registration Contributions to India Cares is based on their size.

Categories for Individuals to raise funds in TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2019

CARE CHAMPION PLATINUM

A Care Champion Platinum is an individual who undertakes to raise a minimum of ₹ 10 lakh in donations for a chosen CSO. In order to register, a Care Champion Platinum needs to make an upfront contribution of ₹ 13,000/-* in favour of ‘India Cares Foundation’. This will be included in the total minimum amount to be raised by the Care Champion Platinum. India Cares will require all your collections and completed fundraising forms, adding up to the committed amount of ₹ 10 lakh by 25th**April 2019 for the benefits mentioned herein below to be provided.

CARE CHAMPION DIAMOND

A Care Champion Diamond is an individual who undertakes to raise a minimum of ₹ 5 lakh in donations for a chosen CSO. In order to register, a Care Champion Diamond needs to make an upfront contribution of ₹ 10,000/-* in favour of ‘India Cares Foundation’. This will be included in the total minimum amount to be raised by the Care Champion Diamond. India Cares will require all your collections and completed fundraising forms, adding up to the committed amount of ₹ 5 lakh by 25th ** April 2019 for the benefits mentioned herein below to be provided.

CARE CHAMPION GOLD

A Care Champion Gold is an individual who undertakes to raise a minimum of ₹ 2.50 lakh in donations for a chosen CSO. Individual needs to make an upfront contribution of ₹ 7,000/-* at the time of registration in favour of ‘India Cares Foundation’. This will be included in the total minimum amount to be raised by the Care Champion Gold. India Cares will require all your collections and completed fundraising forms, adding up to the committed amount of ₹ 2.50 lakh by 25th** April 2019 for the benefits to be provided.

CARE CHAMPION SILVER

A Care Champion Silver is an individual who undertakes to raise a minimum of ₹ 1 Lakh in donations for a chosen CSO. Individual needs to make an upfront contribution of ₹ 4,000* at the time of registration in favour of ‘India Cares Foundation’. This will be included in the total minimum amount to be raised by the Care Champion Silver. India Cares will require all your collections and completed fundraising forms, adding up to the committed amount of ₹ 1 lakh by 25th** April 2019 for the benefits to be provided.

MILLENNIAL CHAMPION

An under 18 individual who has decided to raise a minimum of ₹ 50,000/- in donations for a chosen CSO. The Millennial Champion needs to make an upfront contribution of ₹ 2,000/-* at the time of registration in favour of ‘India Cares Foundation’. This will be included in the total minimum amount to be raised by the Millennial Champion. India Cares will require all your collections and completed fundraising forms, adding up to the committed amount of ₹ 50,000/- by 25th** April 2019 for the benefits of Race day and post Race day to be provided.

iCare FUND RAISER

An iCare fundraiser is an individual who uses the philanthropy platform of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2019 and raises funds of any amount in support of a CSO or cause he/she chooses. Donation amounts can be raised with the help of pledge/ fundraising kits. Pledge kits will be available for download from the India Cares’ website. Alternatively, a physical fundraising kit will be available at India Cares’ office at: M-Z House, 1st Floor, 65/E, Millers Road, Near Post Office, Bengaluru 560046.

There is no registration contribution for an iCare Fundraiser to India Cares, free online pages can be created on An iCare individual register directly with the event organisers, if she/ he wants to run in the Event.

CORPORATE PARTICIATION CATEGORY

Employee Engagement, Supporting a Cause, having Fun!

The CORPORATE CARES category is a perfect opportunity to merge the CSR, HR and Marketing objectives of the company through TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2019.

Companies can choose from any of the CSOs listed with India Cares for the Event, to donate the amount contributed by them. If the company’s preferred CSO is not registered with India Cares Foundation, India Cares Foundation will assist the CSO in completing its registration formalities and thereby stand to benefit through its association with the Event.

At TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2019, companies can choose to field Corporate Cares teams of following team strengths:

  • Team 12: A company makes an upfront non-refundable contribution of INR 1,50,000 in favour of chosen CSO and fields a team of upto 12 employees.
  • Team 25: A company makes an upfront non-refundable contribution of INR 2,50,000 in favour of chosen CSO and fields a team of upto 25 employees.
  • Team 40: A company makes an upfront non-refundable contribution of INR 3,50,000 in favour of chosen CSO and fields a team of upto 40 employees.

The amounts above do not include the applicable event entry fees for individual team members. This needs to be paid additionally depending upon the race category chosen by individual team members to the event promoters (vide cheque/ DD/ Bank Transfer) ‘Procam International Pvt. Ltd.’. The applicable event entry fees will be shared by 1st February 2019 and has to be paid to Procam on or before 20th April 2019.

India Cares gets 10% of the donated amount to the CSO as mentioned above as a donation for the support provided to the participating CSO and the Company.
